My life is in a state of flux. Lots of bad things are all coming at me so I am throwing myself into my art again. I had quit for a few years and I am excited to be getting back into it.

I started seriously drawing in middle school. My teacher gave us the assignment of drawing our hand in a different position every day as a warm up exercise. Tiny wrinkles, knuckles, nails, hairs, light, shadow, gradients, what isn't in a hand?? It is the easiest (most accessible) and hardest thing to draw. I think it is the best way to start to learn, or teach black and white life drawing to young people.

I love hands, eyes, lips, and the curve of a waist to a hip. Light and shadow makes up everything I draw, everything I see.

I could use the support, the input, and the friends so let me know what you think!

I'll keep loading drawings on as I find old ones and make new ones!

I really hope this next year is better than the last. If it is about attitude I hope I am working on that part enough. If it is fate, we will see…
I usually put a quote at the bottom of the journal; I have two this time because they both ring so true for me.
